The following committees, departments and clubs are hereby constituted to carry out various curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities and also to provide ample opportunities and encouragement to achieve the highest ethical and moral values among the students and also to facilitate the smooth functioning of the Vidyalaya during the academic session 2015-16.

1. To guide, suggest and chart out all action plan for academic and co-curricular activities and supervise all above said action plan and give suggestions from time to time.

2. To function as advisory board for Vidyalaya’s activities.

3. In charges and members of this committee will help and advise the Principal to take decision during emergency and in normal situation also as and when their help is required.

4. To prepare Vidyalaya budget in order to provide infrastructure as per requirement of Vidyalaya and it will be quarterly reviewed and modified by committee members.

5. To prepare a list of required materials and infrastructure with action plan to provide it to concerned department / lab etc. on time and it will be reviewed/supervised monthly by committee members.

6. Decision of this committee will be final to initiate action against concerned in all disputed and problematic situation and circumstances.

7. This committee is empowered and honored by Vidyalaya Principal to take decision and action on time to improve the Vidyalaya status in the field of academic and as well as co-curricular activities.

1. To set the Split-up of syllabus subject wise and class wise  on or before   31st March 2015 and check the monthly completion of syllabus as per split-up of syllabus.

2. To list out the name of low achievers and high achievers (on the basis of session ending examination result March 2016) and prepare action plan on or before 31st March 2015 and to ensure that action is taken as per plan.

3. To prepare and inform to subject teachers about the special time-table of all holidays, breaks(Autumn& Winter) and vacation including Morning Assembly time of Vidyalaya as per action plan.

4. To suggest positive and practical plan for the improvement of the academic competency of the students.

5. To maintain the class wise and subject wise monthly student’s academic performance analysis for classes   X & XII and for other classes just after completion of unit test,FA1, cumulative test, SA1, FA3, SA2 and session ending examination.

6. Slow learners and bright learners monthly progress will be checked separately through prescribed proforma.

7. General monthly report on subject committee meeting, PTA meeting, academic inspection, staff meeting minutes, news preparation for news paper’s publication etc will be prepared by this committee. Parents’ letter will also be prepared and distributed to the parents time to time.

8. To prepare Vidyalaya Academic Calendar, Newsletter and Vidyalaya magazine.

9. A report on monthly activities & achievements will also be prepared and circulated among the staff and students.

MORNING ASSEMBLY ORGANISATION

1.To plan the morning assembly programme and allot the duty to concerned class teacher. In addition, to check the preparation of the programme before the presenting in morning assembly.

2. Children’s birthday will be celebrated in morning assembly on his/her specific date of birth to wish him/her to provide a greeting card & toffee & all students has to wish them by presenting birthday song.

 

CELEBRATION OF FESTIVAL  & IMPORTANT DAYS

1. To prepare a plan to celebrate important festivals & days as per Vidyalaya academic Calendar & invite artists, dignitaries on the selected occasions for performing the programme or delivering lecture etc.

2. A special programme should be presented on special occasions & important days followed by a brief speech related to festival. Minimum one programme should be presented by a staff member once in a session.

3. To encourage the students & staff to participate in these programmes & assign duties for them.

4. Guest lecture should also be organized on special occasions & important days to celebrate the occasion with full true spirit.

 

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

1. To prepare an action plan for internal and external CCA activities for the session and complete in time. 2. They will also have to suggest practical plans for improvement of CCA activities.

3. To check the preparation of CCA.

4. To plan for awarding the prize winners.

5. To send the important news time to time related to CCA to newspaper agencies for publication.

 

VALUE EDUCATION

1. To prepare compact programme for developing good habits and moral value among the students.

2. To encourage the students to provide certificate & prizes on the observation of good habits & behavior of students.

1. Complete schedule of FA,SA, Unit Tests, Monthly Tests, Half Yearly Exams, Annual Exams for the session (tentative) will be circulated among the students & parents for their prior information. Exam time-tables should also be informed to students & parents separately minimum two weeks before of commencement of test/exam.

2. Procure the required stationary of examination well in advance in stock.

3. Class wise pre-plan schedule should be decided for weekly test, fortnightly test, monthly test, practice test etc.

4. All the required documents / materials like answer scripts, mark-slip, mark register, progress card

etc. should be issued to concerned teacher in time & it should be taken back to exam department after completion of each and every FA,SA and  test/exam.

5. Students and parents must be informed about the result of all tests & exam within a week of completion of FA,SA and test/examination & updated record must be kept ready for further course action.

3. Daily a minimum of two classroom teaching will be observed by in charge of primary section and its report (supervision sheet) will also be maintained.

4. Proper remarks will be given and action will be taken time to time to improve academic and CCA of primary section.

5. In charge of primary section is responsible for overall improvement of primary section in the field of academic, CCA and all other areas/fields like maintenance of infrastructure, discipline etc.

6. Asst. I/C will assist the I/C of primary section time to time as per his requirement and in absence of in charge, Asst. in charge will work in full fledged manner and power.

5. Utilize the games period primarily for the development of the ear marked games by the KVS side.

6. Facilitate all the students with the available games equipments for the optimum use of the available sports equipments in school.

7. Complete all internal games & sports competitions by the first week of April’13 & organize the Sports day celebration in November 2013.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES OF THE SUBJECT TEACHERS

SESSION 2015 - 16

  1. Please check the cleanliness of the class room. Not a single paper piece should be seen inside the class room thrown carelessly. If cleanliness is not up to the mark, please inform to undersigned.
  2. Each class room should have a dustbin and it must be used properly. The teacher who teaches should compel the students to use it properly.
  3. All students should sit in proper way. Desks and benches should be arranged in two-three rows as per the class strength of students. They must be arranged in such a way that it would give a decent look. Students are not supposed to sit in a gathering look.
  4. Light switch must be used as per optimum requirement and no misuse of electricity should be allowed.
  5. All subject teachers have to prepare (month wise) annual teaching plan to complete the syllabus on time. The syllabus for classes X and XII should be completed by October 2015and for all other classes by December 2015. Students may be called for extra classes to complete the syllabus on time, if necessary.
  6. Revision plan should be prepared in the month of October 2015 for classes X and XII and for all other classes in the month of December 2015.

                     First round revision for classes X and XII is to be completed by December 2015 and for all other classes by February 2016. Second round revision will commence from January 2016 onwards for classes X and XII and it should be completed by 15th February 2016. For this purpose action plan should be chalked out in the month of December 2015.

                      Second round revision for classes I – IX and XI will commence from March 2016 and it will continue till the commencement of Session Ending Examination. Revision plan to be chalked out in the month of February 2016 for this purpose.

  1. Plan for assignment and project has to be prepared separately along with subject teaching plan.
  2. Minimum one subject magazine is to be prepared class wise and section wise on or before December 2015.
  3. All subject teachers (classes I – XII) have to use maximum teaching aids. Minimum one power point presentation / month must be done by all subject teachers and it should be entered in Teachers Personal Academic record also.
  4. Subject teachers have to inform their time table to students so that they could bring their books, notebooks and other study materials regularly. Teachers should check the attendance of students regularly. If any student is found irregular, his/her parent must be called to sort out the problem.
  5.  Schedule of notebooks bringing to school by students must be followed by subject teachers and students should be informed accordingly and it should be checked time to time.
  6.  Students notebooks submission schedule (to Principal for verification) must be followed as per submission plan.
  7. Name of the topic/chapter must be written on black board before you start teaching.
  8. Class room discipline must be maintained during the period.
  9. Class work/home work must be given in a balance way.
  10.  Student’s notebooks /work books etc. must be checked regularly.
  11. Slow learners and bright learners action plan must be taken as per below mentioned instructions:

a)      To prepare the list of slow learners and bright learners in the first week of April 2015 and then prepare an action plan including regular practice, home assignments and extra time to teach/guide.

b)      To give exercise on regular basis and evaluate the same in time.

c)      Analysis of monthly progress based on student’s performance to be recorded.

d)      To chalk out the problems in respective topic/ lesson/chapter and to give the solution for that.

e)      Encourage the students to put their best efforts on the difficult part/ portion of the syllabus. Teachers should encourage the students to inculcate the habit of studying the subject seriously.

  1. To evaluate the students academic performance analysis thoroughly and at regular intervals. X and XII classes performance analysis will be checked month wise and other classes just after completion of Formative Assessments, Unit test, Summative Assessments, Cumulative test and Session ending examination.
  2.  Slow learners and bright learners monthly performance analysis will be checked separately.
  3.  All subject teachers are instructed to complete the monthly test formalities on or before 25th of every month and enter the students marks in office/personal record between 25th and 28th of the particular month. Students academic performance analysis report will be prepared just after completion of Formative Assessments, Unit test, Summative Assessments and Cumulative test and it will be circulated among the staff members.
  4. Please assure that 100% pass result with quality is achieved in the session 2015 - 16.
  5. All records (Teachers diary, academic file personal and official, students attendance register and students file, prepared and updated record of split up of syllabus, slow learners and bright learners action plan, monthly works assessment proforma, notebooks checking slip, question papers of all tests and exams, performance analysis proforma etc.) must be available in Vidyalaya and it should be presented on the demand of authority, if they desire so.

SESSION 2015 - 16

All the class teachers are requested to note down their schedule and fixtures for the session 2015-16.

a.   To observe the students attendance before Morning assembly and just after interval hours.

b.   If any student is found absent, the reason of absence must be asked in writing from the student duly signed by the parent. In the mean time the teachers should mark the space for the date with ‘A’ mark. If any student is absent for more than 2 days in a month without any proper reason or genuine case parents must be informed to stop this practice.

c.    If any student’s attendance is less than 90% in a month parents must be called and information should be furnished in writing with a warning letter mentioning the attendance and record must kept for action in future.

d.   Student’s must be escorted by the respective class teacher from class room to assembly and back

e.    All students should sit in a proper way. Desks and benches should be arranged in two-three rows as per the roll strength of the students. They must be arranged in a manner that would give a descent look. Students are not supposed to sit in groups.

f.     All classes should have 2 monitors, one boy and one girl. It is the class monitor’s duty to switch on the lights and fans as per requirement, and to switch it off when students are out of the classroom.

g.   Each class will have one OUT PASS that will allow two students to be out of the class at a time either for toilet or for drinking water just after ringing the bell. Nevertheless, no one should be allowed to go out of the classroom while teaching.

h.   Please check the cleanliness of the class room. Not a single piece of paper should be seen inside the class room thrown carelessly. If cleanliness is not up to the mark, please inform undersigned about the same.

i.     Each classroom should have a dustbin and proper use of it must be done. The teachers should compel students to use it properly.

j.     The teachers are requested to adopt the following formalities in their classrooms:

a)   Putting a date calendar in each classroom.

b)   Each classroom must be marked with names viz:

The name of the classroom must be pasted on the top portion of the entrance of the class room and another one should be inside the class room.

c)   Each class must have the time table readily available on the wall, which could be prominently located and noted.

d)   Good quotations and bi-lingual version must be pasted in the classroom.

 

11. Every class teacher must take proper note of the behavior of the students of their class. If anybody is behaving unruly, it must be put on check immediately. If the same is beyond their control, it must be brought into the notice of the undersigned immediately.
